Fees
Fees are set at an hourly rate and billed per usage. This reflects the industry standard, though I am an active advocate for creating a better system in which good care is both affordable and accessible. Listed below are commonly used services and the associated billable rates. If you don’t see specifically what you are seeking, I encourage you to ask. Questions lead to conversations; this reflects an important proactive strategy to help understand needs as well as a preventive measure to avoid surprises.
Mental Health Counseling
Medicare/Insurance
$185 per hour [Private Pay]
Counseling sessions may be covered by Medicare and other insurances. Depending on the individual policy, a copay may apply. Counseling takes place in office or via a secure telehealth platform.
Credit card payment is accepted via secure online portal.
Ten-Minute Talk
No Charge
The ten-minute talk is just that: a quick phone call with Karen lasting no more than ten minutes. This is intended for someone who is uncertain if the scope of needs is a fit for counseling, consultation, or referral. These ten-minute talks are by phone and typically scheduled before 9 a.m.
Consultation
$250 fee
Where to turn, what questions to ask, how to find trusted providers of services. Questions abound when faced with situations involving care for a loved one.
When unsure of next steps, a one-hour consultation is recommended to identify the scope of needs, short-term and long-term goals, and connection to professionals key to your specific situation.
Elements Every Day Programming
Karen Faith, LLC comprises everything to advance healthy aging. To that end, Elements Every Day was created as the group programming component of Karen Faith, LLC. Housed within the same space, Elements Every Day offers opportunities for engagement and connection through support groups, educational workshops, yoga, and uniquely curated programming led by knowledgeable teachers and providers of care.
Presentations
$300
Knowledge is most valued when it is shared. I love speaking to audiences, and will be glad to explore topics specific to the interests and needs of your business, organization, or community. Presentations may vary based on audience, timeframe, and location. A flat fee of $300 applies to local presentations of 1- 2 hours. If attendees purchase tickets or earn CEUs from a presentation, or if additional expenses are incurred, fees may be negotiated accordingly.
