March With Ease

Greetings to you, and to a new month!

A question I often discuss with clients is, "How is it possible to find the ‘good’ in circumstances that seem ‘bad’?"

The approach I practice is as follows: First, look at what is being defined as ‘bad’ or ‘good’. Then, pause. This pause enables us to reassess and consider a neutral perspective. From this lens, we are able to access our innate power to choose a new response.

Sounds lofty? It is.

Here's the thing: each of us is the author of our own story. Life happens, and we are at choice as to how we respond.

Most people avoid or resist conversations about aging and mortality. Yet, life is finite for all of us. I am immersed daily in conversations with individuals and families who are faced with diagnoses that alter their lives in unexpected ways. Processing your own new diagnosis, or becoming a primary caregiver for someone you love impacts the dynamics of marital and parental relationships in myriad ways.

Is it possible to address these topics with ease? Yes.

Consider this an invitation to be open to new possibilities. I welcome the conversation with open arms.

Looking forward to a month of living life,
