Take a Breath
Hi friends ~
Ever notice themes presenting themselves in life? I am not talking about the algorithms of social media that keep us inanely glued to devices. I’m referring to real-life, in-person moments when people, events, or topics reveal themselves in succession, often leaving us with a sense of déjà vu.
My time spent with clients reveals both expected and unexpected themes. The theme I’ve heard most frequently sounds like, I’m not doing all the things I’m supposed to be doing.
We’ve all been there: projects, plans, conversations, an ever-growing to-do list awaiting — or loudly calling for — our attention.
Sound familiar? It certainly rings true for me.
Take a breath. It’s ok. If I can be a reminder to you, I can apply the message to myself, as well: the world is noisy, the seasons are changing (hibernation, here I come!), and most of us are experiencing uncertainty in the world with more trepidation than we’ve ever felt before.
Rest assured, what needs to get done is going to get done. The clutter that sat for six months miraculously gets tidied up in ten minutes, the project you’ve been wanting to get to suddenly catches your time and attention to be completed, the conversation you avoided with apprehension gets addressed and resolved more easily than you expected.
And if some things go awry? Expect something better in its place. And always remember to breathe, as there is much to learn in the pauses between our inhales and exhales.
Walking alongside you,
